I bought a Scythe Ninja heatsink from Richard. He was always polite and quick to respond to my e-mails. There was a minor hitch in getting the package out which resulted in a minor delay, but this was more or less beyond his control and I don't fault him for it. I received the heatsink and as it turned out there was a single missing piece which I needed to install it - Richard very quickly got on the line with Scythe and arranged for them to send me a replacement. Scythe seemed to drop the ball and started to ignore him entirely, so he was very generous and gave me a full refund. To be brutally honest, I was disappointed with Richard's conduct during this deal. He was slow at shipping, slow at communication (later in the deal, he was very, very prompt earlier) and frankly, he did not inspire confidence. I'm leaving this as positive because, although somewhat late, the goods did arrive intact and as described and were extremely well packaged - but to the point of overkill, so increasing the shipping charge. I'm willing to believe this was a mere blip, as Richard is a very respectable poster and his past trading record is immaculate, but I'm also bound to document my experience. This was an excellent trade, nearly. I bought two cables, a midi adapter/pass through and a black>black CD Audio. He shipped fast and the midi cable arrived in great condition. It was packed far better than a cable needed. A+ Except the CD cable wasn’t in there. I emailed him a few days later in the middle of the night. Even without confirming what I said (he did check a bit later) he said he would send it out ASAP the next morning. He truly is a first rate trader.

Not sure about the date as I’m adding this a little late. Excellent person to deal with. The CAL CD player I bought had some known issues which Richard described in great detail. He helped me arrange an RMA, shipped it direct to the factory, and was generaly a nice guy. The player’s great, CAL’s great, RB’s great.
